Dasaev

Krasnodar music band Dasaev, including a physician (Oslo), salesman, DJ/stylist and assistant professor, released their first movieclip \'Computer Knows My Future\'. Once been through the whole routine of professional production, while working on their first video in Australia, this time approach was absolutely different: phone-shot video was cut in the lap vj-programs. It came out a little too long, but you must admit its a pretty funny video series one can\'t blush for.

 

As they were referring to the romantic computer era of the 70-80s in their music, the band got in touch with the university scientific research department, where they received eight \'83 decommissioned Soviet calculators. Their music was intended to be something similar to the early Boyarsky. 

- We found old drum machines Yamaha, \'79 Bass and sequencers of the Jean-Michel-Jarre, Roland, Korg period — instruments that Rotaru, Barykina and Zemlyane used. When we sent finished video to our manager in Oslo, saying nothing about the concept, he said: \'Guys! its something in between Boyarsky and Gallagher! Good job!\'
